Cheaper calls with VoIP
 
 
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) means ‘Calling via the Internet’. VoIP is also referred to as IP telephony or Internet telephony. But VoIP also means: cost savings. Inter-company telephony is expensive. Not only the call duration, but also telephone switchboards, maintenance contracts and systems at various locations combine to create (high and unpredictable) costs.

With 12connect and VoIP, your national and international offices, are connected with one another over the internet. Multiple switchboards are connected to a major exchange using one numbering plan. This ensures that telephone conversations and data are exchanged without losing quality and that you do not have to pay any telephone charges over and above this.

Secure, because 12Connect ‘encrypts’ the information. Also home workers, teleworkers, ‘remote’ employees and employees of companies with a single switchboard can call one another or colleagues at the office free of charge from now on. Register the SIM card
1. Take your own simlock-free mobile phone (we do not provide any support for the handsets)
2. Buy an e-Welfare SIM card at the Dutch ECHOS Home and have it ready during registration
3. Go to www.e-Welfare.nl and log in to your account
4. Click on the ‘register mobile phone’ and type in the SIM card number
5. Follow the steps on www.e-Welfare.nl, after which the payments system will debit 25 euros for the deposit
6. Place the e-Welfare SIM card in your mobile phone and select the e-Welfare Network. It may take up to 30 minutes before you can make a phone call

Unregistering a SIM card
7. You should unregister the SIM card when you leave the mission area permanently. The deposit will then be credited to your bank account
